on March 8, 2012 of 2010 Inductee
Archie Lee Honbarrier
who,

C.E. "Ed" Vick, Jr.,

The four awards presented
in 2010 were as follows: The
Founders Award was presented to
North Carolina Operation Lifesaver;
the Nello L. Teer Sr. Award for
Excellence in Transportation Construction
to the
NC Turnpike
Authority; the
Perley A. Thomas Award for Excellence in Pupil
Transportation to retired
transportation director of Cleveland County Schools,
Don Byrnes,
and the Earl E. Congdon Jr. Award for
Excellence in Highway Freight Transportation
to
Duane and Pat Long
of Longistics. The
Tom
Davis Award for Excellence in Aviation
was not presented in 2010.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER
NC Secretary of Transportation
Gene Conti was the
Keynote Speaker, a role that he also undertook in Charlotte
in 2009.
