Induction and Award Ceremony and Luncheon to be held on

2010 AWARDS
To date, three of the four awards to be presented
in 2010 have been selected. The
Founders Award will be presented to
North Carolina Operation Lifesaver;
the Nello L. Teer Sr. Award for
Excellence in Transportation Construction
will be
presented to the NC Turnpike
Authority; and the
Perley A. Thomas Award for Excellence in Pupil
Transportation will be presented to retired
transportation director of Cleveland County Schools,
Don Byrnes.
The Earl E. Congdon Jr. Award for
Excellence in Highway Freight Transportation
has
yet to be announced, and the
Tom
Davis Award for Excellence in Aviation will not
be awarded in 2010

KEYNOTE SPEAKER
NC Secretary of Transportation
Gene Conti will be the Keynote Speaker, a
role that he undertook in Charlotte in 2009. Don't miss
